Mulching and bed renewal in Port St. Lucie
Pull the spent stuff, recut the edge, put down a depth that still looks like mulch after a heavy rain.
What we do
A lot of Port St. Lucie beds have had a bag thrown on top every year until the pile is gray and doing nothing. We pull that, recut the edge so the line holds, and put mulch at a depth that lasts — kept off the stems, because a pile against the trunk holds water where you do not want it.
If you have an association color, tell us before we order.
When a bed also needs a new shape
Mulch on a shapeless bed is just a shapeless bed in a new color. We recut first when the line is gone.
Questions we get
- Do I buy the mulch myself?
- No. We supply it and put it down.
- Can you recut the beds at the same time?
- Yes. That is usually the first step.
