After a leak
A roof leak, an AC line, or a second-story bath. The leak got fixed. The stain was painted. A season later it is back, or the board has sagged. We cut out the bad section, put it back, match the texture — popcorn included — and seal it before paint.
Popcorn that has been patched badly and never matched is common in older Port St. Lucie stock. Matching it is slower. Skipping it leaves a circle you can see from the doorway.
Roofs
If the roof is still leaking, the ceiling is not the first job. Once the water has stopped, the ceiling is ours. We are not roofers.

- Yes. It is slower than a flat ceiling and it is worth doing once.
- Do you repair and paint in the same visit?
- When the patch is ready for paint, yes. Some repairs need a dry-down first.
