Ceilings are the usual call

A roof leak gets fixed and the ceiling it came through does not. Then it sits, brown and obvious, sometimes for years, because matching a texture looks harder than it is. Flat or popcorn, it can be cut out, patched, matched and painted so you cannot find it afterwards — and if it was ever wet, it gets sealed first or it will bleed straight back through.
